  • Students turn in The Lion King Hero Cycle Worksheet (10 points)
  • Students discussed the definition and meaning of Banned/Challenged Books
  • Students played the Banned Books Guessing Game:  Students went around the room and looked at paper bags with books underneath them.  On their answer sheet, students tried to match the banned/challenged books to the reason why it was banned.  
  • Teacher and students went through the answers and the team with the most correct won candy!
  • Mrs. Hirzel passed out their Banned Book Independent Reading Project for Semester 1.
